Acceptable Use Policy
1. General
You must use the Service lawfully, honestly, and in a way that does not harm others, the Service, or InBoundly. You are responsible for compliance with all laws that apply to your business and your communications, including telemarketing, call-recording, consumer-protection, advertising, healthcare, financial, and privacy laws.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- Break the law or facilitate illegal activity, or violate any third party's rights.
- Send unlawful communications, including illegal telemarketing, spam, or calls/texts/messages that violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule, CAN-SPAM, Do-Not-Call rules, or similar laws. You are responsible for obtaining any legally required consent before contacting anyone, especially for automated or outbound communications.
- Record or intercept communications without required consent. Call/chat recording and transcription are subject to state and federal wiretap laws, some of which require all-party consent. If you enable recording, you must provide any legally required notice or consent.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation, in a deceptive or unlawful way.
- Collect or process sensitive personal information (such as health, financial-account, biometric, government-ID, or children's data) without a lawful basis, required consents, and safeguards. Do not transmit protected health information (PHI) through the Service unless we have separately agreed to a Business Associate Agreement.
- Engage in fraud, deception, scams, phishing, or social engineering.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or generate hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or violent content.
- Infringe intellectual property or misappropriate trade secrets or confidential information.
- Introduce malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or circumvent usage limits, security, or authentication.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law, or use it to build a competing product.
- Present AI-generated statements as licensed professional advice, or use the Service in high-risk contexts (such as emergency, medical, or safety-critical situations) without appropriate human oversight and safeguards.
- Use the Service in industries or for purposes you do not have the right to serve, or in violation of any third-party platform's terms (such as listing platforms, calendars, or CRMs you connect).
3. Your callers and contacts
Because the Service communicates with the public on your behalf, you are responsible for ensuring those communications are lawful — including any required disclosure that a caller is interacting with an AI, any recording notice or consent where you enable recording, and honoring opt-out and Do-Not-Call requests. You must not configure the agent to deceive people about being automated where disclosure is required.
4. Fair use and resources
You may not use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate burden on our infrastructure or that interferes with other customers. Usage above your plan's limits is subject to overage charges or, for abuse, suspension.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or take other action as described in the Terms. We may report unlawful activity to authorities. We are not obligated to monitor use but may do so to protect the Service and others.
6. Reporting
Report suspected abuse or violations to legal@inboundlyai.com.
